To the right is a map of the Pacific Northwest and Vancouver Island. The map covers everything from Clayoquot Sound down to Olympia, Washington. Highlighted in red is our actual course. In addition, at the beginning of each chapter there is a maplet which gives a detailed view of the area covered in that chapter.
This map and all the maplets were created using the USGS coastline
extractor and then heavily edited and colorized using Adobe
Photoshop. All of the maps and maplets are relatively small GIF
files that should not take too long to load. None of the maps should
be used for navigation.
